Drifting is the best kind of mobile racing
Realistic driving sims struggle on touchscreens because precise steering wants a wheel, not a thumb. Arcade drift racers sidestep the problem entirely.
Neon Drift Loop is a great example. You hold to slide and release to grip — two inputs, endless flow. Once it clicks, chaining corners feels like playing an instrument.
The genre also suits short sessions perfectly. A single run lasts a couple of minutes, so it fits anywhere, and the pull to beat your last time keeps you coming back.
My advice: stop fighting the slide. Trust the drift, feather your grip out of corners, and let the boost do the work. The moment you stop steering like it's a sim, it all opens up.
