Why us

We actually play

Every review is written after real sessions on real devices. No opinions handed down from a trailer.

Every genre welcome

Puzzles, racers, RPGs, card games — if it's good on a phone, we'll cover it.

We say the awkward bits

Sluggish menus, thin content, battery drain — we mention the annoying parts, not just the shiny ones.

Emberfall Saga
RPG

Emberfall Saga

★★★★★ 4.6

Emberfall Saga is a proper RPG that respects your time. Battles are turn-based and tactical without drowning you in menus, and the story hooks early with a small band of outcasts trying to hold a crumbling border town together.

  • Meaningful skill trees per character
  • Charming, well-written cast
  • Saves anywhere, plays in short sessions

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We follow curiosity more than charts. Someone on the team stumbles onto a game, plays it enough to have a real opinion, and if it's interesting — good or flawed — we write it up. We deliberately cover every genre, not just the popular ones.

Do you get paid to write reviews?

No. We don't take payment in exchange for coverage or for a particular score. If that ever changed, we'd label it clearly at the top of the piece, but right now every review here is unpaid and independent.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, and we read every suggestion. Send us the name and a line about why you love it — a personal note goes further than a press blurb. We looked at Big Bass Drop after a reader tipped us off, so it genuinely works.

Is there advertising on the site?

We keep it minimal and clearly separated from our writing. Any ad you see is never mixed into a review or dressed up as editorial opinion. Our scores are ours alone.
